We're back home from New York. It was a superb trip. We overnighted in the Catskills on the way down and spent three nights in Manhatten. Like many of our trips we packed in a lot in just a few days. The subways worked amazingly well. In just one day, we walked Battery Park (looked over at the statue of Liberty), visited the World Trade Center site, walked through Greenwich Village (watched summer league basketball and visited Washington Suare) ), had lunch in Soho, walked half of Central Park, visited Times Square and had supper near Broadway.
Attended an amazing jazz show at one of the best venues we've ever been to.
It rained and was cloudy most of the time. Not the best picture taking weather. But I managed to get a few good shots and will post them in the next while.
Catching up on the deviations I missed while away.
